I know I was on a hiatus for a month... Plus... 
Honestly, I didn't deliberately go on a hiatus. If you're following me on my IG, @jessthegrrl, you would know that my laptop was stolen and I was waiting for the police for a month to get back to me in hopes of good news. Of cos, it was a total disappointment. That person that stole my laptop was so desperate. My laptop was 6 years old and the reselling price is just pathetic. 

Anyway, this is not a rant post, it's a post to tell you guys that I'm back with a new laptop and will continue to feed you with my evolving looks. Also, I'm glad to work with Dresslink again. Really appreciate their patience knowing that I will be delaying the blog post.

I always love to work with aspiring and talented fashion photographers for my personal styling shoots. This time, I got to work with Yubin, a fashion photographer, as well as my friend, Marc, to be my partner-in-crime for all the shots. I paired Dresslink's tennis skirt with a sports bra, hoodie jacket, a pair of socks and slip-on sandals; a straight-up typical Health Goth styling that Marc gladly embodied with me. I have longed for a black tennis skirt and I'm glad to be able to get them from Dresslink. As usual, they provide an awesome price range for their products! Since it's a simple black tennis skirt, I'll be sure to wear them again and style it with other outfits and looks.

I'm always seeking for something that are oversized and comfy; wearable for both causal and work. So recently, I got to collaborate with Moooh!! and received an oversized cute kitty top labelled as "The Most Wanted Troublemaker". To my surprise, it is really comfortable for a very affordable price! 

Well, since I'm all about getting comfortable, I decided to style the top with a pair of jersey harem pants, an oversized cardi-blazer and my favourite platform sneakers! Of cos you can always style an oversized top with denim shorts, jeans, skirt or even leggings.

Honestly, I think I'm quite a troublemaker myself when I was a teen. Always impulsive and full of angst. A total rebel in my teacher's eyes. Funny thing is, I'm always able to produce good results and got my way out. Thinking back, it was kind of fun though!

Other than a loose fitting tee (as seen on my previous post), won't it be nice to get comfy in an oversized sweater? Especially during cool season, a sweater is a need. 

There are many ways to style a sweater. In my second outfit with Blind Youth clothing, I styled my sweater with a pair of short white culottes, a black beanie, white tube socks with navy strips and a platform sneakers. All flat monotonous colours to let the bold statement speaks itself. Other ways to wear a sweater is with leggings, jeans or even wearing them as a dress itself. Well at the end of the day a sweater is all about comfort right?

Anyways, since it's Valentine's Day, I wish all you guys have a blast! Valentine's Day need not be just a day for lovers only. It can also be a day for friends! At the end of the day, it is all about showing appreciation for people you love and care for.

Finally, I'm back to work after my three months (plus plus) break! 

I had started my new job as a visual merchandiser for about two weeks at a local multi-label store, Rockstar, and it's kind of late of me to write this post. Anyways, there you have it, my working outfit which consist of a comfy oversized men's tee, a pair of stretchy leggings, a pair of easy sneakers and a big tote bag for me to dump anything and everything in. I choose to wear loose-fitting outfit as my job requires me to move around frequently unlike those desk-bound jobs that I had previously. Honestly, I'm lucky that I choose to be in the creative line (even for my previous jobs) and hence, I'm not obligated to wear formal outfits and gets to retain the youthful look of a teen.

Just a quick post today.
This outfit was taken a few weeks ago by my bestie Charm on one of my sloppy days. I looked really bare and pale without makeup like a zombie, aannnnndddd IIIII nneeeeeddd BBBRRAAAIINNNNNS. I was really sleepy, like literally I could just concuss and sleep on the streets.

Anyways I'm currently sorting out all my old design works that I had done during school days and previous jobs. Just feel like taking a break from all my messy files that caused my external hard disk to hang like now, so I decided to make this post. Hopefully I am able to finish all my editing and upload them on an extended portfolio showcase website by next week! Stay tuned!

I definitely looked like I just got out of the thrift store! Ok. Maybe cooler than that. I guess?
I'm glad that today's weather had gotten cooler from that intense rain overnight! Finally, I am able to put on jacket and need not worry to get messy with sweat all over the place. Since the weather is comfortable, I decided to get comfy with my dressing too. I wore a legging and boots with a mens' top, that I just could not resist from a warehouse sale. Not forgetting my main apparel, an easygoing army jacket that can pretty much match with anything. To make myself feel more comfy, I slipped on a beanie. Secretly covering up all those messy fizzy hair that I have. Well, it's not initial intention, but I just got the vibe of a thrift store girl! It's kind of cool since there aren't much thrift stores around Singapore.

It's a simple evening. I had dinner with my boyfriend and later some ice-cream. Did some shopping at the nearby malls and ended at Starbucks where we both played games on our phones and chat about random things. Just one of those good old days that we live things slow, reminiscing on how great if life can just goes on this way before Monday steps in with hectic workloads.
