Topshop X Adidas Originals: Welcome to Love

As mentioned before on my previous post, I'm a Topshop lover! Therefore, how can I miss the collaborative collection of Topshop and Adidas?1 The collaboration is a mashed-up of 80s hip-hop and slick sportswear look. And yes, expect bold colour scheme inspired from the 80s!

I love to style my outfit differently from the norms by giving it a fresh touch. Hence, I wore the sweatshirt with a pair of white culottes, bucket hat, high socks and a pair of platform sneakers. At the end of the day, street look is all about defining who you are. So, simply make an outfit consisting of different eras and create your own identity.

When shooting for this outfit, my photographer and I decided to experiment on doing an outfit video using VIBBIDI app. Do let me know what you think of the collaborative collection and the video!

Welcome Home, Son

A day out with my dear girl Soap and assisted her for a simple street fashion interview at Substation. If you had followed my blog till now, you should have figured out that I can be versatile yet still maintaining the 90s street look. Be it goth, pastel, indie, cyber or even psychedelic, I think I can pull it off well.

Since my recent outfits are to contrast white with black, I decided to wear a white dress by Princessa and with a black leather bucket hat and my usual creepers and high socks. Hope you like my outfit!

Here's one of my all time favourite song by Radical Face, Welcome Home, Son. It's one of the songs that moves me. When I'm out and about, there will be part of me missing home. A space for me to repose and recover to fight for tomorrow.

Oh no... I'm 23!

Dress ∆ UNIF
Faux Black Fur backpack ∆ Topshop
Qozmo Hi-White ∆ YRU
Black Lace Bra ∆ H&M
Socks ∆ Topman
All Accessories ∆ Vintage and gifts

It's pretty late for me to do this post (cos lately i've been really busy at work)... but still, I would like to share my outfit and my little celebration of me turning 23 on 5 march.

Just like my best friend, Charm, had predicted, I wore a white dress from UNIF that was a gift from her for my birthday as she had always knew that I love UNIF. Adding on, I decided to put on my current favourite Faux Fur backpack and a pair of Qozmo white! Not sure why, but nowadays, I'm so attracted to full white outfits. So I pretty much just style myself in that.

I had a simple birthday celebration planned by my Boyfriend and we started off at Rockstar store (which is my current workplace as a visual merchandiser and occasionally assisting as a stylist). If you had not already know, Rockstar Singapore is currently having a major warehouse sale up to 90% off at 22 Orchard. The sale will end on 22 March, so do grab as much thrifted deals as you can before it's over! After shopping, I arrived at Potato Head Folk hamburger restaurant which occupied an old heritage shop house. Knowing that I like things to be laid-back and relaxing, I was brought up to the roof top to enjoy a bohemian oasis ambience that give the vibe of a tropical vacation, similar to when I was in Bali. We had a hearty meal with scrumptious burgers and refreshing cocktails. And I was surprised with a new wallet by my favourite brand, Marc by Marc Jacobs! It's classic and it's something that I really need!

Though it was a simple celebration, I'm thankful for everything that my boyfriend had done for me. And being 23, I ought to be more sensible and be brave to face more challenges in time to come! However, age is not something that will deter me to be young at heart! So in terms of fashion and styling, I will still continue to be a 90s kid!

So let's get things a little upbeat, here's a song by tUnE-yArDs, Water Fountain!

Had to hear on my Valentine's

Crochet Vest/Dress ∆ Princessa
Denim outerwear ∆ The Editor's Market
Floral Bralette ∆ Topshop
Tye Dye Denim shortsTopshop
Jadon Boots ∆ Dr Martens

Since my boyfriend and I are music lovers, we decided to spend our Valentine's Day at a music festival organised by The Gathering with indie musicians like Real Estate, Temples, Pleasantry, Caribou, Belle and Sebastian and more. It was a simple yet special day for us.

As usual, I never failed to dress up for any occasion and since it's V-Day, I decided to dress a little sweeter (which I usually don't). Thanks to Princessa for the sweet crochet vest/dress, it gave a softer touch to my grungy outfit while overlaying my bralette and denim shorts. Keeping the accents of my style, I threw on a denim vest with a pair of boots.

Guess I'm a little late posting this up due to my current hectic schedule plus having to celebrate Chinese New Year over the long weekend. Nonetheless, I would still like to share the recap of the music festival experiences!

Being a fan of Real Estate, here's one of my favourite songs by them!
