Ripped, torn baggie jeans, crazy hair colours, duo knot buns, tattoo choker, baggie tee and (if the weather is cool enough) pastel fur coat. This is definitely what you will see in the 90s. As a 90s kid, I'm definitely embracing every bit of this look. It's a mixture of street, hip hop and grunge. It was a fun collaboration shoot with Izwan from the owner of Alt-F4 store. We explored a few places around the street of my old art campus and derived with all these awesome images. I know that many of you have given me great responses from Instagram- that you love the Pink Fur Coat from Shein. Here's a good news from Shein, for celebrating spring’s coming, Shein provides FREE shipping (With No Minimum Order) worldwide to over 100 countries until 15 o’clock BJT, 1st of April,2016, 26h left!!!
What is more, they provide the best-selling series with at least 40% off for you:
Recently, I have a thing for turtle neck tops and dresses. They're best for the rainy period of the year, which is the coolest Singapore gets with the lack of four seasons. That's definitely my excuse to snuggle in this cosy pullover byShein, keeping that usual minimalistic monochromic styling. I matched my top with apleated tennis skirt (as seen on my previous post), and keep it cool and chill with a pair of sneakers.
Just some updates: I have left my previous job at Rockstar Singapore and I'm currently with Goodvine Pte Ltd as a Brand Manager for Tocco Tenero bags. It's been a month since I started working and I'm still trying my best to cope with the workload. Hopefully I can pull through and all things will go well. But of course, not everything was going well. Bad luck hashit me really hard. In my previous post, I mentioned that I had lost my laptop. Now I also have a broken tooth, lost my nike cap (shown in this post) and yes my wallet (it's stolen) which means I lost my identity card too. Honestly, I have never lost anything major throughout my life. So it's some weird ass shit that I've kept losing my shit since December 2015. Seriously, for the first few things that I lost, it was kind of funny. But not anymore with my IC went missing! It's like a wake up call that shit's getting real. I hope this will stop. Like PLEASE! … As usual, I love to share intriguing songs that I have discovered. Recently, I found Deja Mae an electric indie artist with her new EP Sloan. My current favourite song is "We just wished"! Do listen to Deja Mae and let me know which is/are your favourite!
Slip-ons ∆ Nike Photos byYubin Taken together with Marc I know I was on a hiatus for a month... Plus... Honestly, I didn't deliberately go on a hiatus. If you're following me on my IG, @jessthegrrl, you would know that my laptop was stolen and I was waiting for the police for a month to get back to me in hopes of good news. Of cos, it was a total disappointment. That person that stole my laptop was so desperate. My laptop was 6 years old and the reselling price is just pathetic. Anyway, this is not a rant post, it's a post to tell you guys that I'm back with a new laptop and will continue to feed you with my evolving looks. Also, I'm glad to work with Dresslink again. Really appreciate their patience knowing that I will be delaying the blog post. ... I always love to work with aspiring and talented fashion photographers for my personal styling shoots. This time, I got to work with Yubin, a fashion photographer, as well as my friend, Marc, to be my partner-in-crime for all the shots. I paired Dresslink's tennis skirt with a sports bra, hoodie jacket, a pair of socks and slip-on sandals; a straight-up typical Health Goth styling that Marc gladly embodied with me. I have longed for a black tennis skirt and I'm glad to be able to get them from Dresslink. As usual, they provide an awesome price range for their products! Since it's a simple black tennis skirt, I'll be sure to wear them again and style it with other outfits and looks. ~ Check out more on Dresslink Free Shipping, $0.01 deals ... I'm a super big fan of Grimes, since her first debut. So here's one of my favourite songs, Flesh without Blood, to share with you guys! Enjoy!
It's my honor to be able to work with Irresistible Me and get to try on these fabulous hair extensions! I'm 100%, not a vblogger. However, I feel it will be better for me to do a review and tutorial video of the hair extensions. Honestly, my video is pretty amateur. I really have to thank you first for bearing with me throughout the video. Seriously, just have a good LOL at all my weird, awkward moments, badly spoken grammar and poor editing.
I really do love these hair extensions as they can withstand me all night long, yet not having the need to suffer a migraine. I hope you enjoy my first vblog. And maybe even getting yourself a box of Irresistible Me to change up your looks for 2016!
…
Who says long hair girls can only be demure? In my ootd shoot (above), I wore the extensions with a slight grunge yet health goth outfit. Whereas for my vblog (below), I wore the extensions with pastel goth outfit. Well, do let me know which is your favourite!

It's the end of 2015 and it has been a great year for me. Of course, there were ups and downs, but they never seem to beat me down. They pulled me up and push me forward, breaking my boundaries, facing my fears and meeting new pals whom I greatly treasure.
Looking back at Jan 2015, I can see how much I've grown within a year, so much that I feel that I'm a different person. I was in a long 2 year relationship that ended in March 3 days after my birthday with my Ex telling me that he want to be a Priest and he was not happy with me. After that broke up, I was a little lost, but friends around me got me back on my foot. As a lone ranger, I set out to meet new people around me. Creating strong bonds of friendships. Dated a few guys, but it didn't seem to go well. Still facing family violence once in a while. Got a panic attack, that was supposed to be anxiety. Started attending counselling sessions to be a better person as I was a depressed kid that wants to stay strong. Oh, not forgetting that I must not take caffeine drinks.
Of course, I still have my clumsy moments, like breaking my front tooth, which I needed to pay the price of SGD$5k and just a moment ago, I thought I would end my 2015 losing my bloody bag that contains my laptop, memory card, wallet and all the essentials. Guess luck is still on my side, my tooth can be fixed and I just found my bag after 5 hours.
Seriously, thank you all for showering me with so much love! Love you peeps and may 2016 be a year, hoping that I will be less clumsy.

Enjoy the video and view the original hair extensions before I ruined them with my violet hair dye.
There are many forms of street fashion and who says it can't be of a softer touch? Embodying the baby girl style, I got a sweater from Style Raiders, whom I had worked with previously, and match it with a white tennis skirt and a pair of white sneakers. It's a head-to-toe full white look. If you're into quirk, fun yet casual apparels, do check out Style Raiders. I'm sure they will not disappoint you, especially with their friendly rates! Do to include the promo code, "jessraiders" when checking out to enjoy additional 10% off! … October was my down period and I was relieved that it had kind of settled down a little. Just to summarise up, I was suspected to be diagnosed with Enlarged Thyroid due to sudden anxiety and I pretty much have to go for check-ups and blood test. After a few follow ups, I was found freed of Thyroid, for now as I still have another appointment in Nov with Ultrasound to confirm that I am totally freed of Thyroid. On the other hand, I was diagnosed with panic attack due to excessive stress from work and other factors. All of these happened before, during and after my Bangkok trip. All I could say, the trip allows me to clear my mind a little before pushing myself forward again. Since my down period is sort of over, let's take some time to repose with this ambient song by U137, Watching The Storm. Hope you love this relaxing muse!
