Too Much Time Together

Top ∆ H&M
Boyfriend Jeans ∆ Levi's
Creepers ∆ TUK
Accessories ∆ From Bali, Bangkok street market, Party shops in Singapore and Hand-made from friends
Photos by Emilia

Feeling the rave from the summer heat, I decided to throw in some pastel shades. Honestly, I'm not a sweet tooth and I do not fancy cupcakes. However, I love adorable stuff and cupcakes are just adorable. That means if I can I would rather just display the cupcakes on the shelves instead of eating them! Well that can never happen (for a real cupcake) so let me be more realistic and have a tee printed with cupcakes instead. Keeping it simple for the average 32ÂșC hot summer in Singapore, I matched my cropped top with a pair of ripped boyfriend denim jeans and of cos, creepers! Since I'm short (also thanks to that messy topknot that I had), it gave the illusion that I'm taller (I hope).

I have always been a fan of San Cisco and had watched them live before. Gosh they are just so adorable! Anyways here's one of my favourite song from their latest album, Too Much Time Together.

Topshop X Adidas Originals: La Loose

Socks ∆ Find Similar Here
Sandals ∆ Urban Outfitters
Photos by Amirul

Here's another outfit from the collective collaboration of Topshop and Adidas. Since it's a collection, I just could not miss out the most essential basic oversized tee with the Adidas logo slapped right at the front and 00:45:50 representing the birthdays of both Topshop and Adidas in a countdown graphic at the back. And yes, the tee practically fits on me like a dress since I'm only 158 cm (5'2in) tall. It's my favourite kind of styling on my "relax" day with high socks and sandals. Well, practically, I looked "retarded" to many onlookers on the street. But guess what? They are missing out on how to be full of SWAG and yet comfortable!

Anyway, lately I have been lagging on my blog post and for that, I'm so sorry! Over the past whole week I was busy repainting my room over the weekends with my dad and managing the restructuring of my full-time job that is currently undergoing some transitions of my job scope for the rest of the week. I pretty much collapsed after every end of the day.

Just some good news to share! For the past couple of weeks, I was being featured in Sauce Ink Magazine as a featured blogger and was invited to be a guest contributor for their zines. Next is Staycool.it an online magazine and previously on Then and Now Online shop Blog. I was honoured to be invited to Luxola's private event for ALCINA's product launch! It was definitely an amazing experience for me!

Also, I found this new song recently and I thought it very cute and smoothing. Hope you enjoy La Loose by Waxahatchee!

Chilling at home like a pro

Like a Pro Singlet ∆ H&M (Mens)
Jacket ∆ Obey
Leather Bucket hat ∆ Sup
Photos by MYSELF! YES, I literately used a tripod to do this!

Well, today's post is an unusual one. It's the first time I revealed my resting nest.
Definitely, I do not have a Pinterest look-alike room to show off. But hey, that does not mean I can't do a post of me chilling out right?

You may wonder why I dressed so fancy at home. Well, I was out for an errand earlier in the day and just thought of doing a simple home shoot with my eggy, Gudetama, look-alike gummies.

Just some fun facts about myself,
• My parents always love to shower me in pink, hence, my room is painted in baby pink. Honestly, I hate it. Not that I really hate pink, but I'm just not really a cutesy pinky girl. My favourite colour is Black, White, Red, and hologram (if you allow me to add that as a colour).
• Since I was a kid, my parents have always think that I love Hello Kitty. So I pretty much have lots of Hello Kitty collectibles, especially those from McDonald's. So sorry to all my Hello Kitty fans, but I'm not a kitty fan.
• I love Rilakkuma, Gloomy Bear, Eeyore, Gudetama and more... I seriously have uncountable plush toys.
• Any One Pieces fans out there? I'm currently at the latest episode of One Piece and I can't wait to watch the next one! Anyways, my favourite character is Sanji. Weird but yes.
• I have Ostraconophobia (phobia of shell food), but for me, it's just prawns. They just creep me out like cockroaches. Just look at those feelers! Ew!
• I may look bad-ass (maybe?) but actually, I'm a total opposite. I'm a chicken who is scared of bugs, heights, and please do not throw me into a forest all by myself!
• I can't handle spicy food no matter how hard I tried. I just can't. And sadly I have to miss out some great gourmet.
• I can be a navigator? Maybe? I have always been street-smart.
• I am definitely a feminist.
• Lastly, I have a little brother who is three years younger and he looks nothing like me. We are those hard-love sibling that love to criticise each other all the time. However, he's definitely a great companion, clingy at times and love to seek advices from me in whatever he does.

If you are interested to know more about me, do shoot me any questions below! I will definitely reply to anything you want to know!

I hope you are not bored by the same boring backdrop of my room. Anyway, here's an upbeat song to share by The DĂž, Despair, Hangover & Ecstasy.

Art After Dark

Sweater ∆ Blind Youth

Double stacked Creepers ∆ TUK
Leather Bucket hat ∆ Sup

As an art lover, how can I missed out Art After Dark open house event at Gillman Barracks during Singapore Design Week 2015?

Despite being in a thick outfit, the weather (even at night) was not that cooling. I must be out of my mind to wear a thick sweater with woolly tartans skirt then pairing them up with a bucket hat and my creepers. Well, at least I felt cool in them.

It is definitely a wonderful location. Being a former colonial military camp, the surrounding creates an ambience for arts appreciation. Expect to view mind-blowing art galleries; indulged in gourmets from F&B pop-ups; chill out with beers while viewing design film at an outdoor screening, and get your hands on some local designer's products at the maker's market.

Enough of my small talks and view the recap of the event below!
