As promised from my previous post, here's more of THE YUB apparel! Given the liberty to choose the apparel, I've gotten the WHATEVER beanie, stripe skirt and black zig-zag ring and styled it like a rebellious 90s cool kid. The beanie is full-on swag mode on my lilac hair and the black Nike men's tee that I had gotten at a warehouse sale complements well with the stripe skirt giving it a great contrast. I certainly can't go without a bag and a pair of creepers to complete the look.

"Cool kids, hanging out and loitering around the school premises. Creating fun out of the silliest little things around them. Young, free and wild. They made risks an addiction and couldn't care less about the troubles that they were getting into. Some made a wrong turn, and things got out of hand. As shit gets real and things gets heated up, the tension of fear and thrill of being caught built up. Lucky sinners got away. And then again detention was served to those that were caught. And the thrill of the cool kids goes again like a cycle."

Anyway here's an image of me laughing away when I broke the cartons of boxes as I was too heavy.

Just like a rebel, the vicious fox from the music video of one of my favourite singer, Courtney Barnett, Dead Fox, best represents what a bad kid could do and the consequences for their mischief. Hope you enjoy the song!

Thanks to THE YUB, I've gotten this cute oversized baseball dress and the black ring along with more apparel (that will be up soon on the next post!). If you haven't heard about THE YUB, they provide really affordable streetwear apparel that can be easily accessed either via desktop site or mobile site and you can even download their app (Apps Store | Google Play Store) to enjoy the convenient shopping experience!

I think I'm an alien, so I decided to be myself and have this quirky hairstyle along with the baseball dress and an oversized bomber jacket. Well since the weather is so damn hot, I can't help but to cheat my outfit a little to feel comfortable by putting on a pair of socks and match it with my favourite sandals.

So it's summer (even though in Singapore it's 365 days of summer, we still experience a slightly cooler days during the "winter") and I'm tired with my overgrown roots and brassy gold hair. I decided to get rid of my blonde by adding in a tinge of purple or to be exact, lilac. Yes, I know the trend is in for that granny hair colour. Well I would definitely want to have that, but sadly, I could not find the right toner that I can get off the shelf. Even if I were to do it in the salon, it will definitely going to cost me a bomb and it will fade off to this brassy blonde again. Lilac is much more easier to maintain as I can pretty much buy the lilac dye off the racks with brands like Manic Panic or Directions.

Before adding on all these crazy pastel tones, there is always a need to protect you hair and getting the right tone of blonde. Recently, I got in touch with Madison Reed and got to learn that they provide permanent yet very affordable hair dye that's of salon quality. It will not sacrifice your hair quality to achieve those vibrant tones that you need. If you want to have healthy hair, especially when you are one of those people, like me, who their hair dyed frequently, you've got to check out their hair dye selections! Below is a chart for you to get the right tones and swing your hair under the summer rays!

Niall Galvin aka Only Real is now my current greatest love! I'm seriously like a fan girl of his songs. It's so dope with all those laidback hiphop muse. Here's one of his hits, Yesterdays.

Topshop X Adidas Originals: La Loose

Here's another outfit from the collective collaboration of Topshop and Adidas. Since it's a collection, I just could not miss out the most essential basic oversized tee with the Adidas logo slapped right at the front and 00:45:50 representing the birthdays of both Topshop and Adidas in a countdown graphic at the back. And yes, the tee practically fits on me like a dress since I'm only 158 cm (5'2in) tall. It's my favourite kind of styling on my "relax" day with high socks and sandals. Well, practically, I looked "retarded" to many onlookers on the street. But guess what? They are missing out on how to be full of SWAG and yet comfortable!

Anyway, lately I have been lagging on my blog post and for that, I'm so sorry! Over the past whole week I was busy repainting my room over the weekends with my dad and managing the restructuring of my full-time job that is currently undergoing some transitions of my job scope for the rest of the week. I pretty much collapsed after every end of the day.

Just some good news to share! For the past couple of weeks, I was being featured in Sauce Ink Magazine as a featured blogger and was invited to be a guest contributor for their zines. Next is Staycool.it an online magazine and previously on Then and Now Online shop Blog. I was honoured to be invited to Luxola's private event for ALCINA's product launch! It was definitely an amazing experience for me!

Also, I found this new song recently and I thought it very cute and smoothing. Hope you enjoy La Loose by Waxahatchee!
