Wounds

Sometimes, I just want to keep things real casual. I know I have been real fancy in dressing up myself but that does not mean I do not have lazy days.

Sweatshirt is always the best laziest outfit ever. But Hey! They do makes everything looks cool and it goes with almost anything. In this outfit, I matched my sweatshirt with a draped skirt and a pair of furry sandals. I gave myself a top knot to spice up my look up a little.

Here's another song of the day, Wounds by Ulysse. I love the sick beats during the chorus. Hope you love it too!

In case you guys get constipated with all those white outfits, here's my all black outfit to freshen things up! I was really excited to collaborate with Alt-F4, a local designed store, and currently their ribs tee is one of my favourite.

Like every other occasion, I requested for an oversized tee and wore them like a dress as I matched it with a pair of hosiery, high socks, and a pair of double stacked creepers. To rid the feeling of bare, I accessorised myself with a bucket hat and a jacket. Keeping them real casual.

I love all kind of indie music. And of cos I play different type of music according to the time of the day and my mood. When it's evening, a chilling music will definitely suits the ambience. Currently, Death with Dignity by Sufjan Stevens is my favourite evening muse.

Nothing More... on my eyebrows

Studded leather Jacket ∆ Topshop
Dress ∆ Lipservice
Jadon Boots ∆ Dr Martens
Socks ∆ Stance X Misfits

During the last century, thick eyelashes with thin eyebrows seem to be the trend, but time has changed. Thick eyebrows or sometimes bleached eyebrows (for edgy twist of fashion) with natural makeup seem to be trending now. Well, I guess ever since Cara Delevingne stormed in the fashion scene with her luscious thick eyebrows, people start to realise the beauty of thick brows (and probably trimmed their brows lesser).

In case you think that I had bleached my brows, I got to admit that they are natural. It's not that I have no brows, but I seem to bear thin fine brows. So fine that I don't have to bleach them! Just like what Cara had said, to embrace who we are and what we are born like. So I had decided to embrace my natural look for once and not doing anything with my brows. At times, I really wished I'm born with really thick brows just like Cara!

To give a contrast to my fine brows, I decided to go black and grunge with red lips, a pair of Dr Martens boots, skin tight dress and a studded leather jacket. Topping off with a pair of Misfits socks that totally screams my character (with middle fingers to the sky)!

Love the conventional Indie Rock music? Well I found Guards with their new song, Nothing More and I'm sure it will suit your genre!

Face Painting by Fadila from Cheeky Faces

Halloween is around the corner!

With the upcoming spooky festival, bare faced with costume is 100% not allowed, unless your costume is "my everyday look". If not, face painting and makeup are definitely needed to set the mood right. Honestly, I had never done face painting before and I'm excited to have my friend, Fadila from Cheeky Faces, to get my face painted with the design of Sugar Skull. Being a talented crafty girl, she had recently started her own face painting business and was invited to do face painting for the opening of Mango Kids store in Singapore a couple of weeks back!

I love Sugar Skull (or Calaveras De AzĂșcar in Spanish) as it has a rich culture originated from Mexico. It represents a human skull made from either sugar or clay to celebrate the Day of the Dead and the Roman Catholic holiday, All Souls Day. What makes it interesting is that there are always rooms for creativity in decorating the skull to make the colours stand out! So I decided to paint it on my face for my halloween look.

Here's a song by Wolftron, Sugar Skull, a chirpy song that I hope you will enjoy!
