Today is one of those days that I just could not decide on what to wear. I guess you get what I meant by trying out almost everything in your wardrobe and yet still not satisfied. I wasn't settled with anything till I found this dress (or maybe a long top for tall ladies) at the bottom of my piles of stacked up apparels. Funny thing is, I had almost totally forgotten that this dress existed. I hurried up to get dressed with the lace cardigan that I already had in mind and matched them with a hat and a pair of boots. Ended up looking kind of Boho, but I love it and ready to rock the night with local bands from Anaki Records (do check their cool studio out).

Here I am at the Waterfront open theatre outside Esplanade, featuring local pop-punk band Before the Tempest. If you love bands like Blink 182, We Are The In Crowd, Set Your Goals or any pop-punk bands you can think of from the 00s, do check them out! They have never failed to hype up the crowd as they were always filled with fun and fuelled with energy.

here's one of my favourite tracks, but do check out more of their songs on soundcloud!

After Before The Tempest, we were entertained by The White Trip Movement featuring vocals from Celine of Arson. If you love music that are more avant-garde with inspiration from the shoegaze genre like Slowdive, Sigur Ros or The XX, I'm sure you will love them. They embrace dark, cathartic, moody guitar riffs combined with hushed vocals to create a stark melancholic sound.

Here's one of my favourite from them, do check them out at their youtube channel too!

After the concert ended, I chilled with the Anaki Records crew (as well as my boyfriend) at the nearby Sauce Bar. It was an incredible night filled with great music from the local scene and fantastic view of the Singapore river.
