San Diego // Hair by The Comb Hair Salon

Located along a stretch of shophouses at Gemmill Lane , there sits a modern and elegant country-style salon, The Comb Hair Salon. Thanks to Ryan, the hairstylist from The Comb Hair Salon, I had my roots retouched and intensified to magenta from my then-pastel-pink hair. Initially, I wanted to change my hair colour to a green ombre tone. Sadly, they ran out of the hair dye and I have no choice but to go with a violet-red shade. To my surprise, the colour seems to suit me better than I thought!

Since I was on a business trip in Kuala Lumpur, I decided to make use of the hotel bathroom as my backdrop to go with my monochrome health goth styling. It was a fun yet creative shoot with my colleague as we experimented with flash photography; trying to bring out the 80s/90s ambience.
