Face Painting by Fadila from Cheeky Faces
Halloween is around the corner!
With the upcoming spooky festival, bare faced with costume is 100% not allowed, unless your costume is "my everyday look". If not, face painting and makeup are definitely needed to set the mood right. Honestly, I had never done face painting before and I'm excited to have my friend, Fadila from Cheeky Faces, to get my face painted with the design of Sugar Skull. Being a talented crafty girl, she had recently started her own face painting business and was invited to do face painting for the opening of Mango Kids store in Singapore a couple of weeks back!
I love Sugar Skull (or Calaveras De Azúcar in Spanish) as it has a rich culture originated from Mexico. It represents a human skull made from either sugar or clay to celebrate the Day of the Dead and the Roman Catholic holiday, All Souls Day. What makes it interesting is that there are always rooms for creativity in decorating the skull to make the colours stand out! So I decided to paint it on my face for my halloween look.
Here's a song by Wolftron, Sugar Skull, a chirpy song that I hope you will enjoy!
